Collect something that means more

Own the moment. Fund what surrounds it. Be first into what comes next.

A GeoChange edition is three things at once: a second that happened once, held still by someone who was there; a limited edition of 111 that stays limited; and a share of profit that goes to the cause named on it.

Limited edition of 111, made to order in Australia and never reprinted. Numbered at production, credited to the ambassador who was there.

Some moments never happen twice

One frame. One reef. One of 111.

“Sometimes I get distracted by the patterns in the sand. It’s entrancing to watch the sway of the Tiger’s body as it floats above the sea floor.”Daniel Nicholson, on The Lone Tiger

A photograph is not a picture of a shark. It is evidence of a fraction of a second that is already gone: this light, this water, this animal, this position, this person behind the lens. It cannot be staged and it will not come around again. The edition holds that second still, 111 times per size, and no more.

Curated pairs · Complete the wall

Two works, curated to hang together.

Not a bundle. Each pair is one statement piece and the companion chosen to sit beside it: same finish, one shared centre line, sized so the pair holds the wall. The pair for a first wall or a bedroom; the family for the main one.

Priced at the sum of the two editions. Complimentary rolled print included. Two numbered editions, one shared centre line.

Seized ivory tusks, stacked and burningPhotograph: Paul Hilton, GeoChange Ambassador
Why GeoChange exists

It started with one photograph of 100 tonnes of seized ivory.

Alex Oteri founded GeoChange in Fremantle after Paul Hilton's photograph asked a question that would not close: how is this still happening? The answer was to make the art on your wall fund the world you want to live in: a named cause, a real allocation, and photographers who were in the field.

If you have wanted art that means something, and proof that it does, this is built for you.

Our story

The people who were there

Ten photographers and artists who were physically there: in the water, in the field, season after season. Their name is on the edition and 30% of its profits go to the cause closest to their work.

What belongs on your wall?

Five questions about your room, your wall and your taste. One confident recommendation, with a companion if your wall wants one.

Start
01 Where will it hang?
02 How wide is the wall?
03 What should the room feel like?
04 Which subjects stop you?
05 One piece, or a pair?
One confident recommendation

The wall is only the beginning.

Two more layers are opening around the collection: a curated marketplace, and experiences in the places the work comes from. Collectors hear first.

How it works
The Private View

The room before the doors open.

First sight of every new edition while the numbers are still low, the field story from the person who took it, and the first word when Life and Journey+ open. We never put the work on sale.

What members get
A few emails a month. We never put the work on sale. Leave whenever you like.
Beyond the wall

Start with art. Discover what comes next.

Every edition funds a named cause and pays its creator, and puts you among the people GeoChange opens its next layers to. This is how participation compounds.

  1. A photograph creates attention.
  2. Attention becomes ownership: one of 111.
  3. Ownership funds action: 30% of profits to a named cause.
  4. Action opens access: collectors hear first.
  5. Access becomes experiences · Journey+, opening.
  6. Experiences make more stories, and more people come in.
