The Exhibition Collection: Large Format Art Prints for Walls That Can Carry Them
These are our large format art prints — thirty-seven pieces released in our biggest sizes, up to 40 by 40 inches, made for the wall you keep walking past because nothing has ever been big enough for it. One frame, one animal, one horizon, at a scale you feel from across the room rather than notice up close.
Statement wall art starts with the wall, not the picture
Most homes are hung timidly. A single small frame in the middle of three metres of plaster reads as an apology, and no amount of framing fixes it. Statement wall art works the other way round: you measure the wall first, choose the size that fills it honestly, and let the image do the rest. As a rough guide, a piece should occupy somewhere between half and two-thirds of the usable wall width — which, above most sofas, beds and sideboards, means a print far larger than instinct suggests.
These are the images that reward it. Water, weather and light all behave differently at scale; a wave stops being a subject and becomes a surface you can stand in front of, and large wildlife prints give an animal back something close to its real presence — a whale that reads as a whale, not an illustration of one. Our exhibition prints are simply the pieces we think earn that room.
Oversized wall art in Australia, made to order rather than off the shelf
Every piece in this collection is a limited edition, made to order and handmade in Australia, printed on fine art paper or museum-grade canvas and delivered with its certificate of authenticity. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting; your size, substrate and frame are decided first and the piece is made afterwards. It is a slower way to buy oversized wall art, and it is the reason the large sizes hold their detail instead of stretching thin.
For interior designers, boutique hotels and eco-lodges, that also makes this collection straightforward to specify: consistent substrates across a set, a named artist behind every piece, and a conservation story your guests will ask about. 30% of profits from every print goes to conservation — which is a better answer to "where's that from?" than most artwork on most walls.
How big will that actually look on my wall?
It is the only question that stops people, and we would rather you answered it than guessed. Every product page has View in Room: point your phone at the wall and the piece appears on it at true size, in your light, above your furniture. Do it before you choose the size, not after. Most people go one tier larger than they had planned, and almost nobody goes smaller.
The size ladder runs through six tiers, and from Extra Large upwards a complimentary small print comes with your order — yours to choose, and useful for balancing a large piece with something quieter beside it.
Start with The Sunray by Anouska Freedman, The Shore Break by Andre Rerekura, or The Whale on the Reef by Ollie Clarke — three pieces built around space, which is exactly what large format asks for. For land, The Lone Tiger and The King hold a room on their own. If you would rather browse by subject first, the full gallery, the water collection and the land collection are all a size ladder away from the same pieces. Measure the wall, then choose the print — in that order.
Canvas or fine-art paper: which should I choose?
Stretched canvas gives a gallery depth with no frame and is the recommended finish. Hahnemühle Hemp paper gives a lightly textured, archival print for your own framing, or in our oak frame.
Which size suits my wall?
Above a two-seater sofa (180–210 cm) most collectors choose 26″ × 40″ or 20 × 30. Use “Find your piece” or the scale slide on any artwork.
How limited are the editions?
Each size is limited to 111 numbered prints and never reprinted.
How long does delivery take?
Made to order: produced in 3–5 business days, then 5–7 business days for shipping. Rolled prints ship free within Australia. Framed and stretched pieces are A$10 flat delivery per order.
Can I return it?
Because each piece is made to order we don’t offer change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged, send a photo within 48 hours and we replace it.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Rates are calculated at checkout by destination.
