A grayscale version of The Mirror by Brooke Pyke. This edit is for those who appreciate deeper contrasts in images. The background is a beautiful void, which frames the whale shark’s spots better, making it more prominent. A captivating visage for those who appreciate black-and-white portraits.
This kind of presentation seems to resonate with the endangerment of the species from human activity. Global warming and unregulated or under-regulated fishing threaten to prevent the survivability of these oceanic behemoths. Let’s do what we can to contribute to their extended existence.
